Dear Friends,
The Four Winds Farm is an apple orchard and garden of medicinal herbs located on nine acres in the Similkameen Valley of the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada. The valley has a mild climate with hot summers, perfect for growing herbs and fruit of exceptional quality.
The Four Winds Farm production is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, growth hormones or pesticides, nor does it fumigate or irradiate the herbs or fruit. Many of the herbs grow naturally on the farm where they like best and are then gathered for drying or made into preparations fresh. Some herbs are cultivated in beds for convenience.
In 1984, I began to grow and develop my medicinal formulas for my family. In 1988, I bought the farm and began to grow herbs on a larger scale. The plants are started from seeds in both greenhouse and outdoors in garden beds. I k now exactly what goes into my herbal preparations because I grow the ingredients, hand harvest and air dry the herbs for optimum freshness and effectiveness. By blending carefully only small batches at a time, maximum quality is assured.
